When a Player deliberately heads he ball in a game, an indirect free kick should be given to the opposing team at the spot of the offense. If a dliberate header occurs inside the Penalty Area, an indirect kick will be taken on the Penalty Area Line paralell t the goal line at the point nearest to where the ifringement occured. If a player does NOT deliberately head the ball, then the play should continue. Determination on whether a header was deliberate or not will be in the sole discretion of the Center Referee. |

Trifling infractions should be ignored by the Referee. For serious infractions, the player should be allowed to retake the throw ONCE. The player shoul be encouraged to perform a proper throw-in. If the second throw-in is also a serious infraction, tbe Referee will use his/her judgement when deciding to ignore the infraction or award a throw-in to the opposing team. |
